Brett D. Lebed, M.D. is the director of the Montgomery County Center for Continence and Pelvic Health, and Clinical Associate Professor and director of Female Urology and Urodynamics at Temple University. He is board eligible in urology and urologic surgery and is fellowship trained in female urology, male and female voiding dysfunction, incontinence, neuro-urology, and pelvic reconstruction. Dr. Lebed was raised in Huntingdon Valley, Montgomery County where he attended Lower Moreland High School. He obtained a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and graduated cum laude. He attended medical school at Temple University, where he received the Lamport biomedical prize for clinical research, the Temple Urology Award for achievement, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. He completed urologic residency at Temple University, where he served as Chief resident. His oncologic, robotic, and laparoscopic training was at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Lebed completed fellowship in female urology, male and female voiding dysfunction, incontinence, neuro-urology, and pelvic reconstruction at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He has been well published in peer reviewed journals and WebMD in many of his areas of expertise. He has written multiple textbook chapters, review articles, and continues to present his research at Urologic meetings nationwide. Dr. Lebed offers treatment for all urologic disorders with a focus on voiding dysfunction. Sub-specialty interests include minimally invasive, robotic, and cutting edge treatments for incontinence and prolapse, bladder fistula, urethral diverticula, and the treatment of complications of prior pelvic surgery. Dr. Lebed was recently named "Top Doctor" by Main Line Today Magazine in 2011.
