| Dr. Braun's practice spans the gamut of urologic care including the treatment of urologic cancers, urinary infections and obstruction, prostate enlargement, urinary incontinence, stone disease, erectile dysfunction, and chronic pelvic pain. He emphasizes a collaborative approach to patient care which is highly individualized to the patient's concerns about medical and surgical treatment.
He received his undergraduate degree from Kenyon College and Master of Science from the University of Mississippi. He is a graduate of NY Medical College and trained in surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in NY. He completed his urology residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center(NY) and received the Ferdinand C. Valentine Award in Urology from the NY Academy of Medicine for research. He has been with Urologic Associates for 20 years, having relocated from the New York area to start in urologic practice in Norristown.
Certified by the American Board of Urology, Dr. Braun is a member of the American Urological Association, Urological Association of Pennsylvania, and the Philadelphia Urologic Society.
