Academic Urology Pelvic Medicine Specialist Featured in Philadelphia Inquirer

Susan Kellogg Spadt, PhD, a nationally-recognized expert in pelvic/vulvar pain and sexual dysfunction, was featured in a recent Philadelphia Inquirer article about sexual pain and discomfort in post-menopausal women. Dr. Kellogg is now seeing patients as Director of Female Sexual Health at the Academic Urology Center for Pelvic Medicine in Bryn Mawr.

In the article, Dr. Kellogg explains the physical changes that can cause sexual discomfort in older women. There are a variety of interventions to address and correct the problem, and Dr. Kellogg encourages women not to be embarrassed about seeking help. “Sex should never, never be painful,” she says. The Center for Pelvic Medicine is located at the Bryn Mawr offices of Academic Urology, 919 Conestoga Road, Building One, Bryn Mawr, PA. The Center’s phone number is 610-525-0541.
