Jose G. Moreno, MD is a Clinical Associate Professor of Urology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and he is in private practice with Tri County Urologic Associates. He has served as President of the medical staff at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center in Pottstown Pennsylvania where he remains on active staff and he is also on the attending staff at Phoenixville Hospital.

Dr. Moreno received his bachelor's degree from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles California in 1983 and medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1987. He then completed 2 years of surgery at the University of California at Irvine followed by a 2 year surgical oncology fellowship at the City of Hope in Duarte California which was completed in 1991. He completed a urology residency at Thomas Jefferson University in 1995.

Dr. Moreno's work in circulating prostate cancer cell research over the last 10 years has earned awards and 4 US patents. His surgical technical interests are in urologic minimally invasive technologies in laparoscopy, robotic surgery, pelvic reconstruction and BPH therapies. He has been a principle and co-investigator in a number of prostate and bladder FDA biomarker clinical trials.
