Academic Urology Patient Shares His Battle With Prostate Cancer

Larry Waldman was shocked by a diagnosis of prostate cancer, but he took a thoughtful approach and worked with Dr. David McGinnis of Academic Urology.

Mr. Waldman's story appeared recently in the Jewish Exponent. Now with a clean bill of health, Mr. Waldman devotes time to facilitating a prostate cancer support group. Academic Urology is the region's largest urology practice, and our physicians bring particular expertise in options for prostate cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment, including robotic surgery and a dedicated Prostate Center that provides radiation treatment. We thank Mr. Waldman for sharing his story.
